a clash of more than 100 cars on busy bridge

Dozens of people have been hospitalized and are being treated at hospitals in southern England after a pileup involving more than 100 vehicles on a busy bridge, connecting the Isle of Sheppey in Kent County, according to the BBC.

Apparently, the pileup was caused by intense fog that did not allow drivers to have visibility of the congested highway.

The accident occurred in the morning hours of Thursday and it is still in the cleanup of the area.
